Default Cherokee unibody support

I have a 1996 jeep Cherokee.. High miles.. And was wondering if there was any opinions on how to strengthen the frame part.? I put all new floors in(welded in) and I want to keep it cuz I love this one but want to make it stronger. I do not do any rock crawling or much trailing just playing in the mud and snow.. Is it worth strengthening?

If you plan on keeping it much of a "stocker" it will be fine the way it was built, unless it has some rust in the unibody channels..then...maybe add stiffeners.

they are quite strong in stock form, however, it's not a bad idea to add frame stiffeners.
many aftermarket companies are producing them nowadays, so the price is quite competitive.

Frame where the steering gear is WILL get weak. I would just worry about that part of the frame with a steering box brace.

unibody reinforcement has been covered in our TOTM (topic of the month) threads.
