My reading has shown that:
Your money would be better spent on gears imo.
- The install is involved. Not difficult, just time consuming
- Aftermarket cams will need upgraded springs
- No real huge gains have been shown with them.
- It seems that with aftermarket cams you are going to move your powerband up or down, not really make any gains to justify it.
Your money would be better spent on gears imo.

i put a mile comp cam in my renix MJ, only because it was $50 and i had the engine on a stand. the gains were noticeable, but nothing extraordinary. it feels like it gained some low end torque if anything. either way im still downshifting on any hill with my 4.10s and 33s. the best part of the cam was probably the better idle sound lol
