Check Gages Light?

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0L
Check Gages Light?
So my Check Gages light is on and my Oil Temp Gage light is not working. I probably could hunt around for a couple hours but maybe some one can help me find the prob. Its my old lady's 2001 2wd Limited XJ. Is it a fuse, if so, under dash or in engine? Is it a sensor, if so where, I've never seen the oil temp sensor?
