im not an idiot I know how to extend adjustable arms its not hard to spin and unthread something you are really seriously just incapable of reading...AFTER EXTENDING THE CONTROL ARMS THEY OBVIOUSLY WILL BE TOO LONG TO FIT FROM THE BODY TO THE AXLE SO WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET THE AXLE FARTHER FORWARD OR BODY FARTHER BACK TO FIT THEM IN

And I meant more of the whole process of removing extending and re installing not just how to make them longer which is beyond common sense

thats not what you are asking in your first post. you are asking how to adjust you control arms in a quick and efficient way.

seriously im not trying to flip you crap but you asked a super easy question. so of course I would give you a hard time. no hard feelings dude.

trying contacting the manufacture of the arms and they "should" have measurements for the arms. you can always take it to get aligned and a quality shop will do it

I dont need measurements I would like to know the easiest way to push the axle forward after I take off and extend the arms and what else should be removed its pretty straight forward I think maybe I should leave the wheels on and jack it up til mmost of the pressure is off and maybe put a bottle jack between the tire and wheel well

im guessing here but jack it up by the body disconect the control arms ect. then maybe use ratchet straps to move the axle where you need it if that is what you are having a hard time with( moving the axle around)

i also agree that it is really frustrating when there are so many repeat threads but the forum search is soooo terrible/ completely useless it is almost a joke.

when i search for stuff i just use google and type cherokeeforum in my search

maybe push or pull the axle. a winch or rachet does good. then bolt your readjusted arms back in.

If I was going to do this I would use a ratchet strap to pull it forward. I wouldn't remove anything else but I would **** the rear wheels. And put jacks just behind the rear lower control arm mount on the frame to take the pressure off as you stated. And also put some blocks on the front tires to keep it from moving to much. You also should put some wood blocks on the pumpkin as it may want to rotate downward.
