Hey guys,

My factory fog lights are long gone. I bought KC 775 ( ). I'm going to use their relay and wiring as the PO ripped out all the stock wiring. My question is, can I hook up the aftermarket lights to the factory fog light switch? Drilling a hole for new switch is no biggy but I thought it would look nicer to keep and use the stock switch.

Id just run new wiring. Then you can have your fogs on while your highs are on.

But he said the PO ripped out the original wires. Isnt it in the wiring to the headlights that the fog lights dont work with High beams? I think maybe if you just use the switch connected to all the new wires you should be fine. You just need to figure out which wire does what in the switch.

I'd buy another relay/harness. They are affordable. Very simple to wire everything up. I used my factory switch in my build. The factory wiring was second rate anyways. I didn't use any of it with my upgrade and it was all there

Why not just tap the wire coming out of the switch to the relay for the fogs?

Make your own wiring harness and use good wire at least 10AWG and use this setup

I did pretty much the same thing. You can get a splice connector and get the illumination power from the wiper switch that already next to it.
