Default can anyone identify this wire?

I was doing my headlight harness upgrade and came across this little guy (between the T and the E on the battery). I don't remember it coming off the battery. Could it be from the fog lamps, when I bought it she had aftermarket fogs but one was smashed so I removed them. I followed it and it looks like it may be grounded next to the relays (left of the battery). Everything works but I hate "loose ends", thanks for any assistance you can provide.

looks like a ground for something. i'd check out a service manual or wiring diagram to find out for sure.

That is not a factory ground wire, it will not be in any FSM. Likely whomever installed the fog lights did that. Nice work actually.

Trace it back. Shouldn't have to go far.

I noticed after turning off the radio (while the engine was running) that the clock on the radio (aftermarket) was not functioning. Is it possible that the wire in question has something to do with it?

Almost entirely no. Grounding is part of the harness on the back of the radio and there's only one of 'em.

Thanks salad, I'll trace it back as suggested and see where it ends.
