Camber Questions... I know
Ok so first, I'll quote my Haynes book, "Camber is factory present at 0-degrees and cannot be adjusted."
Alright with that said, my camber looks off lol...
Jeep: 94, 2WD, 3" RC lift.
When the jeep is sitting level on flat ground the tires appear to be off camber and be tilted so that they are sitting on the outer most part of the tire, causing it to wear more. It basically looks like this \ \...../ / the tires are slanted in like that but clearly at less of an angle. I have not had a chance to get an alignment yet and im redrilling my track bar hole on Friday. I can get pic's tomorrow in the light sometime. When i jack the front axle up i can use a level and put it on the tire and they both appear to be extremely close to perfectly vertical, however when i drive the jeep, the camber appears off and the grit from the road is not on the full tread, meaning the whole tire is not on the road surface evenly. IDK what is going on but how does an alignment fix this/ can it fix this. Ive already read this twice: http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAlignment.htm but sense im 2WD things are different. I just want to see if there are any suggestions or comments or if anyone has had this problem before.

I have same prob. I have 4.5 I too have a thread on this you.need 7deg caster to have near perfect camber on a solid axle. Make your uppers shorter or your lowers longer.

Yeah i gotcha. My grandpa said he talked to the alignment shop and they mentioned using spacers... I think... but on Friday i'm re-drilling the track bar and i'll see where that gets me. Maybe i'll look into longer lowers... didn't want to fork out the money lol

I did the adjustable ball joints (lower) and it helped a lot. Before, no amount of alignment helped on a super smart Hunter machine.
The available adjustment for the LCAs is very minimal and did not help at all.
Having adjustable LCAs and UCAs is also very helpful, as the whole axle can be pushed forward... The lift brings it towards the back wheel well and might cause rubbing...

I'm assuming you are talking about camber and not caster.
I have Adj CAs but shims would help if you need to do minor caster angle adjustment.
