The door speakers in my 98 xj are not working checked the wire connections fine but can't figure the problem outthe need help. And my door lock switch dosent work but I can hear the kick panel box click and I removed my door panel to day to check speakers and the driver door lock want flip since reinstall but will still lock from the outside??

 

An easy way to check your speakers is to connect to a known good speaker. The most common wiring issue will be in that rubber boot between the door and body.

As far as your door lock not working from the inside, check to make sure the pull/push rod is still clipped to the lock switch. It's very easy to accidently pop that clip out when you're reinstalling the switch panel.

 

9 times out of 10 these problems are caused by broken wires in the boot between the door and the body that will need to be properly repaired

 

The rods on there thinkit might be bent slightly
