Default c8.25 27 to 29?

hey everyone i have an 8.25 27 spline that has some rust on the ring gear and was just going to lock it, regear it, and put after market axles in. can i just buy 29 spline axles and 29 spline locker and have it all fit? i assume this is correct but i would like verification before i buy everything

Yep, you sure can if you use a FULL CASE locker. Not a lunchbox locker.

Yep, or you need a 29 spline Carrier....not sure about the wheel bearings though, I thought the 29s have a bigger inner race for the shafts, but I could be wrong.

i'll have to look into the wheel bearings at napa. see if the part #'s are different. As far as the locker i was just going to this locker

Use that Detroit and 29 spline axles and you will be fine.

You can pinch shafts and carrier from KJs if you really want to lol. Get some disc brakes while you're at it
