Brake clutch pedal help
Im swapping an ax 15 into my 99 xj i swapped the clucth pedals in tonite but the brake light switch is about half an inch from the pedals from the 95 donor truck ive searched but no one had a problem with i didnt adjust the rod on the master cylinder any ideas of why theres suck a gap?

if your pedal distance is where you want it, you could weld on a large spacer on the pedal shaft that will make contact with the switch.
adjusting that booster rod won't raise the pedal where you want it. it will only mess with the master, making your brakes feel spongy or if dialed in, will apply the brakes with your pedal at neutral rest. and i'm not sure if you can adjust the pedal rod. i've tried a few times on the few swaps i've done and it seemed to just turn without adjusting the length.
what year did the donor pedals come from?
