I have a 3" top gun body lift for my wk and I was told I couldn't get it installed bc my truck is a unibody so I can only do a suspension lift, but I know lots of people put body lifts in their wk... is this true?

You don't know anyone that has installed a body lift on a wk because it is impossible.

Does your "body lift" look like this?:

If so, that's a coil spacer lift... not a body lift.

As stated, WKs, just like XJs, ZJs, and WJs (and KKs, KJs, XKs, KLs, MKs, etc) are unibody. You cannot.... CAN NOT... install a body lift on it. Well... you CAN. But you'd have to cut the frame rails from the body... which would be pointless.... and stupid... unless of course, you're doing what one of our members here did and BUILT a fully boxed frame for his XJ in place of the uni-frame rails. But then... if you could afford to do that.... you wouldn't have bought a coil spacer lift.

It really does look like a new Brite RC truck. From the bumpers, chassis and goofy front shocks dang near a copy of one.

Wtf?
I'm not really sure, has been for sale locally for about 3 years, he's down to $2400 asking price and it won't crank.
Has a suposed Mopar 360, not sure what the chassis came from.
