Any yall have experience with these?

Could it be used for something like manually turning on the E fan instead of installing a hard switch?

Hmm. Looks interesting, but I don't think you want to be messing with your smart phone and trying to pull up an app if your engine is heating up. You want to flip that switch NOW.

you’re right about reaching for the phone. However, may be a great solution for those of us with Android head units. Could control aux lights as well. 😁

Even with an android head unit, which I have, I'd want to be able to flip a switch. Also, you'll do more wiring work hooking that thing up to the fan than just wiring the traditional switch.

I could see using it for something like that. NOT for anything critical.
Mostly I see it as a solution in search of a problem.

This is the first I'm hearing of this product. It is definitely neat. I am not trying to be negative but I cannot think of a single way I would want or need to use it.
The only two uses I can think of would be for air horns or train horns like something to play with outside of your vehicle for kicks.
The other being the air ride guys. I imagine it could be wired in to control the height from outside the vehicle. In place of the aftermarket alarm/door lock systems that guys use where they wire the air ride to that so they can control it with a remote.
I'm curious to hear if anybody can think of a practical use for these.

They do come in different forms too. With dedicated remote. I may do this for aux lights.
