Default Best tires at cheaper price???

Hi, I have a 00' Cherokee Sport, and I may be getting a lift kit soon (RC sense I'm in my senior year of High school and on a budget)...
---------------------------------------
I'm planning on just keeping the stock rims for now until I can afford Black steel ones down the road, and I'm wondering
what type of tire is best at a cheap price (that'll last). I would be running a 3" lift and 31x10.5x15.
I just need some tires that are A/T's at a cheap price. Where do you look for your tires at?

---------------------------------------
Thanks..

00' Jeep Cherokee Sport// Dana-35 axle// Pioneer radio// Browning floor mats// open-headers// Wrangler bumpers.

I've ran Treadwrights on 3 different Jeeps now. Specifically the ATG all terrain tire. They've been awesome and I have gotten great mileage out of them. I had almost 40k miles on a set when I sold my last Jeep and they still had good tread depth. Those same tires carried me from San Diego California to Dallas Texas going an indirect route with 2500 lbs of cargo split between a trailer and the Jeep going 75 MPH most of the time.

I don't have personal experience with the Nankang Mud Stars but I have yet to find a negative review on them online from anyone that's used them when I was deciding on my last tire choice which is why I suggested them since the OP is looking for a cheap tire.

i sold tires for a living for the past 7vyears, and just based on customer experience, their feedback. And attending numerous events talking to those in the industry, i rarely heard anyrhing good aboit the treadwright brand. Same for nankang. They are extremely cheap chinese tires

It makes no sense to get the Treadwrights when you can get new tires for the same price or only a few dollars more per tire. A quick Ebay search for 31x10.50r15 tires pulls up over a dozen different tires ranging $420-$500 per set. Walmart.com also runs good deals on tires this time of year, last year I got a set of 315/75/16 Mastercraft MXTs for my truck for only $170 per tire.

dont tell anyone from Taiwan (where Nakangs are made) that they're Chinese they probably wouldn't like that too much.

Looking at reviews some.sites are showing 2000+ reviews with a 4.5 star (out of 5) with one site show 7800 reviews with an average 5 star rating on Nankang tires I dunno seems people are pretty happy with them

And yeah Treadwrights have climbed in price I got my last set on sale.combined with a discount code. I think next time I'll go mudstars or to tirerecappers

You couldn’t pay me enough money to run treadwrights that’s just silly . The nankangs are for old farm trucks that don’t see much highway and aren’t worth putting quality tires on . I’m trying out an “inexpensive” tire now the mickey Thompson Deegan 38. I got them very from from 4WP on sale and so far no complaints .
