Best shocks for 6.5" lift

max shock travel for 6.5" lift
Iron rock offroad recommends doesch tech 8000 shocks to reach max flex with their 6.5" critical path long arm lift kit. Now I know that the Bilstein 5100 series shocks ride much better.
What is the max travel you will need with a 6.5" lift?
I found out they use:
Model Extended length Collapsed length
Doetsch Front shocks: DT 8421 32 18.50
Doetsch Rear shocks: DT 8371 29.50 17.00
