You guys need to get on where2wheel.com. It's a user generated map/database of wheelin spots. Nowhere near perfect, but it has a lot of places listed.

Back to 8.25 shafts now...

No. What they are saying is different steel hardness ratings are better in certain applications. So just the fact that an axle is called chromoly doesn't make it the best axle for your jeep.

Here you go folks. A broken 29 spline Yukon 8.25 shaft, broke it right at the taper. There is no need for it to taper down that much In the first place.

I ordered a new revolution axle shaft. We'll see how that is when it comes.

Let us know how it goes, looks like a great deal. They're made out of the same material as the rest and only states being 10% stronger than oem, wonder if it's worth the money though.

That's true. But I believe they have a lifetime warranty, compared to the 1 year warranty of my Yukon shafts. I am seriously considering an axle swaps if I break it for a 2nd time. Probably going to go with a built 8.8/9" rear and a rockjock44 front, eventually. Lol. Run 36/37's. I think it would be perfect.

The cost per shaft is actually reasonable, IMHO.

That's where I was referring the price and strength increase. The cost is great for sure. I'd buy just for the warranty and the 10% increase would be a nice bonus.
