What do you guys think is the best gear ratio to run with 35" tires and an auto transmission? I need to re-gear. Also, what do you think of aussie lockers in front and back? Thanks.

4.88s would be best for an overall all around jeep. might want to save up a little and get a selectable front the rear an aussie will be fine, but i would not put the money into a POS turdy5

Thanks. I've got an 8.8 explorer axle I'm building up for an install.

look at a c clip eliminator kit on the 8.8. you got a non limited slip 8.8 right? otherwise that aussie is going to jump in price a bit.

I'm not sure, haven't opened it up yet. It came out of a '98 explorer.

if it has the tag on it it will read 4 10 for an open 4.10 diff and it will read 4L10 for a LSD one.
