the rule for lifting is for every inch of lift, u need 1 inch of backspacing. 4.5" lift= 4.5" backspacing

depends on rim width as well 4.5" on a 7" is way different than 4.5" on 8" rims

4.5 in bs is hands down the perfect amount if you want to keep stock fenders.

I have the same set up and I'm happy with 4 inches of backspace.

So what happens when you install a 6.5 inch lift and try running 33x13.50r15s with a 15x10 wheel with 6.5 inches of back spacing?
Don't think it would work 8.78 inches inboard from the WMS would rube bad.

I did 4" BS, and I just barely rub the stock LCAs on full lock, I can not hear it, BUT I can see the LCAs are missing some paint...

BTW

1996 Cherokee Sport

3" lift (coils front, leafs rear, relocated track bar, stock/shimmed LCAs)

285/75/16 (measures 33.25 x 11.25)

Cragar Soft 8s 16 x 8
