I hope you don't have the stock axles in your jeep.

That's hard to say. You'll need to cut the **** out of everything for a tire that wide to not scrub. I'm guessing by you asking this you have stock axles under there.

I'd want at least 3.5" of backspacing. I'd also want full width 1-ton axles so the backspacing wouldn't make a difference.

Wonder how big of an engine he is going to use to turn those bad boys, one of the new 450 HP Hemi's with 1 ton axle's.

With one tons I wouldn't want 3.5" BS.

If it's full width axles body rub is a little less of a concern but you'll still need to cut a good bit. My spare is a 38.5x16x16.5, so barely wider, and it's on a 12" wide wheel and it doesn't rub my arms but it will rub my fenders when I stuff it and it has 4" of backspacing. My regular tires are 12.50s also on 4" backspacing but 8" wheels and it's the same with them.

Thought you had stock springs still unless I misread your other posts wrong?

Also plan on trussing the crap out of those axles because you are exceeding their capacity. My front D44 has chromos and I still snap shafts and joint with my 38x12.50x15s which are a good 10 pounds or more lighter than yours. Bring lots of spare parts.

I ran 12in wide rims with 4in backspacing on 15.5 wide tires and no rub.
