Hey all - just finished installing Azzy's Design Works replacement transfer case shift linkage in my 95 XJ. WHAT A DIFFERENCE - the stock one is such a joke; it's awesome to just move the lever and have it shift where you want to and not pop out.
BUT
His customer service is even more impressive. I hit a snag in the install (apparently I lost part of the instructions) so I hit him up on FB Messenger per one of the contact methods listed on the instructions. This was at 6 PM - and even though he's apparently moving shop and having to renovate the new one, he answered almost immediately and figured out my issue instantly. I quickly finished the install and the thing is flawless.
SO BE NICE TO YOURSELF AND UPGRADE THAT POS STOCK LINKAGE. Honestly your XJ is awesome and you've put a lot of work into it, so stop embarrassing yourself to the point of suicide when it pops out of 4wd right when you drive in front of that herd of smokin hot supermodels on the trail. You've heard them with your own ears, and it hurts so much because you know it's true: "OMG, is he still running that STOCK tc shift linkage?? What a TOTAL LOSER!! And Azzy's is so easy to install......do you think he has the guys at Autozone install his wiper blades for him? What a SOYBOY."
So upgrade your social life and support a great small business owner that's working his *** off and offering great products. And learn to change your own damn wiper blades or just sell your XJ and get the Vespa you belong on.
That is all

I also have the Azzy's shift linkage. It's stout and far less complicated than the maze that the stock one is. I as well ran into a snag while installing and reached out to him on a Sunday not expecting to hear back until Monday. About 15 minutes after I sent him a message, he responded... on a Sunday. The product is good. The customer service is good. I agree with your post.Originally Posted by Thetastycat

I wish we didn't sound like a paid advertisement though lol. Oh well. My comments here are honest and genuine.
Also, there's nothing wrong with getting the guy at Autozone to install your battery or windshield wipers. You can watch him work and correct him if he does something wrong. A learning experience for the guy lol.
Haha yeah, that occurred to me too - oh well. I have absolutely no connection to him other than buying a linkage!
Just this morning I was on hold for OVER AND HOUR AND A HALF trying to get a hold of Morris 4x4 - I'd ordered an SYE that it said was in stock, then they called and said it would be a month until they could ship it, so I found one in stock somewhere else and ordered it. I emailed Morris to cancel my order and they never responded, but last night they charged my credit card for it. So I had to spend an hour and 50 minutes on the phone first thing this morning to get it cancelled.
SO, it's EXTRA refreshing when I FB message someone at 6PM and hear back immediately. The contrast was striking.
