Default Need info to buy jeep tonight

Hi guys, I'm suposed to go meet with a guy in a few hours after class to buy a 95 cherokee for $900. He has just stated that it will need a right side 4wd linkage coming out of the transfer case, other than that it is in good shape and is coming with a 3 in lift kit (to be instaled). But the linkage consurns me, I'm mainly lookin for cost to repair, I've had no luck with google.

Any help is apriciated, and sooner the better

Depending on the junkyards near you the linkage could be cheap.

I can yank the entire thing from my local pick n pull for about $12.

That is assuming that he actually means the transfer case shift linkage. Aside for the word "linkage" it sounds as though he could also be referring to the drive shaft (which is part of the 4WD and on the same side of the TC as the shift linkage).

My other concern is that the linkage is on the driver's side - which is technically the left side of the vehicle.

Think you need better info! If it's not too late, get the specifics and get back to us! Good luck!

yes direction wise it's sitting in the drivers seat so anything on the passenger side is the right and anything on the drivers side is the left.

As others said ask him for more info.
