Both are direct bolt ins, the 8.25 doednt have abs, idk about the d44 but the only thing that will happen if u get rid of abs is ur abs light in ur dash might come on, and if it does just pull apart the dash and remove the light, u can put a locker in ur d35 its not like it hasnt been done, if u plan on running larger tires tho and heavy wheeling tge 8.25 will be good but the ford 8.8 is the best option but that requires some fab work

33s would be the biggest id run with a d35, if u plan on going bigger and doing alot of hard wheeling go with a 8.25

U can run 33s with 3-3.5" of lift and trim, 4.5"+ will clear 33s fine

Yea, ull also need to regear. Check craiglist for tires, dont get anything with uneven wear or dry rot

I wouldnt spend more then 400 for used tires unless they have 90%0 tread or more, and to regear ur looking at around 400$ for front and rear. unless u find them used, im not sure on the ratio u need tho wirh 33s
