axle swapping?
i have a chrys 8.25 and d30. i do not know alot about this stuff but i want to have posi front and rear i wont run more then 35s maybe just 33s, or if there are other options to get the same results.i dont want to spend alot of course but all options are considered thanks alot.

wait you you say you want posi but you hate the LSD you have now. Posi is an LSD just a name GM came up with. you want lockers. go to aussie locker and get your self a pair of lockers and call it a day your out less then a grand

k well i want all my wheels to spin and i put it in 4w. are lockers the best way? is it better to upgrade axles and put lockers into those or will lockers be enough?

Well upgrade axles would be great but if you don't put lockers in those your still going to have that same problem, lockers do exactly that lock your axle together so they don't spin independently. But if you only go to 33's you should be fine with those axles, unless you start doing rock crawling

so i read up on lockers and what they exactly do, is it and idea to buy used ones or will u ever find used ones? what are the best bang for money and where to get them from

Well your axles will move them, but ofroading with them would not be a good idea. So you have the axle on the left side and on the right side. The way the gears work is that only one wheel spins, buy putting a locker in when the wheel starts to spin the locker locks the 2 together allowing both wheels to spin for maximum traction.

so i put it in 4w and the lockers lock the two together and plant the power between the two? can be done on the front and back? my dad knows this **** could we put them in ourselves? whtas the longevity on them?

Yeah both front and rear. Go to the write up page there is an amazing write up on how to install them. And they last really long i imagine unless something breaks obviously.
