Im thinking the only choices for me is going to be a XJ with tow package and a wagoneer with driver side drop. Everything else needs welding or indepth modifications. Correct?

The Waggy D44 will require modification as well since it's a leaf sprung axle.

You'll need a front axle bracket kit at the very least.

I'd like to suggest the following:

Stick with your current HP D30 and upgrade it. In the long run you'll be ahead of the curve.

That's why i suggested keeping your HP D30.

For the vast majority of wheelers the OEM axle is more than adequate.

Adding a set of alloy shafts will provide a great deal of improvement over the stock shafts.

Adding a selectable front locker will allow you take the harder lines with confidence.

Using some common sense and staying off the skinny peddle will save you a lot of coin.

So Hows this:
Swap rear for tow package XJ D44 with a locker and gears
Keep front D30 and put in a locker and 30 spline shafts? (could you show me some links, I prefer 4wd.com, because of mil discount, and its local to me so i can go pick up the parts, but if its cheaper else where so be it)

I want to put in 5.5 lift and run 32/33" tires eventually, but I dont want to put it on and have my axles fall apart on me. I beleive I would need 4.88 gears or 4.56 gears.

Thanks again FrankZ, you've been a huge help.

I had my sister take some pictures of my axles, and I dont have a rear dana 35. It is a 8.25 so I think I will just stick with that. So a front of dana 30 and a rear of 8.25. That will do I think. Then Ill put 4.56 gears in them both first of all. Then ill put in a ARB rear locker and Easton front locker, and then buy the new 32" tires and 4.5" lift with 1.5" spaces in the front and then boomerang shackle in the rear.

What do you guys think?

I still say PowerTrax NoSlip out back, Eaton E-locker up front.

As hard as it may be, I'd strongly recommend not doing it in this order. You'll end up paying more to have both axles set-up twice, and you'll also have to pay for an open carrier for your Dana30 in order to install a set of 4.56 gears.

Remember that a No-Slip can be installed without having to remove the carrier.

I swapped a HP into my 00' as a upgrade and unless your going like 35's or bigger the D30 should be good man..but, you could still do 35's with it just bigger possibility of it messing up but, i'm rocking mine stock with 3.55s and 31's at the moment with no problems (knock on wood)..
