Axle queastion

This may possibly be a dumb question but I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the internals of a dodge chry8.25 out of a Dakota are interchangeable with a jeeps 8.25

As long as the spline count is the same yes.

i thought those were 9.25 not 8.25?

the dakotas had 8.25s. The R&P will be interchangeable regardless of spline count, but the shafts, carrier, and spider gears are dependent on spline count
