Is it of any extra benefit to add a small fan to these coolers?
I'm going to be running 35's by the end of the year, probably on stock gearing for a while (not that I'll be driving it much like that), if that makes any difference...no threadjack intended. There should be a sticky on these tranny coolers!

I've considered that, but that fan doesn't run too often when I'm jeepin'. Unless I have the A/C on (which I recently fixed). When I'm ready for this project, I'll be installing a temp gauge with it. It'd be interesting to see a way to alter the wiring of the OEM fan, so that it comes on when the tranny temp reaches a certain temperature. That would be ideal!

I installed my cooler in front of the electric fan too, I also hooked up a trans temp gauge so I can watch my aw4's temperature, and if I need to, I can turn on the fan to help cool down the tranny fluid little more quickly.

I put my tranny cooler in front of the mechanical fan, that way it's always getting air pulled through it. Trying to keep it as cool as possible at all times.
