Aussie locker ID?
So a while back I bought a second hand aussie locker off craigslist with the intention of putting it into my D35 non c clip axle, the cherokee that it was supposed to go into was a 93', mine's a 88'. When I went to put it in the locker was not going to fit or spin in the carrier, it was way to big. So what could it be for? Are c clip d35 carriers bigger? I know that aussie doesn't sell a c8.25 27 spline locker. The locker does have cut outs that might work for c clip installation. I'm looking to sell it but can't sell it if I don't know what it's meant for.

lunchbox Lockers dont spin inside the carrier, theyre held captive by the cross pin, and have little plates that engage or disengage depending on torque application.

Actually it does kind of spin(the outer halves). That is how it releases. If it's too tight it would act as a spool.
Could be for an 8.25? USA standard or spartan.

No numbers stamped on it as it is older than 3 years (since Aussie started stamping lockers). I remember that I couldn't get it to fit with the thrust washers and I couldn't get the last cam gear to fit even after slightly grinding the gear. I want to say it's for a 8.25 but I know it's an aussie and they don't make a 27s 8.25 version.

D35s came with different sized carriers. Buddy of mine killed his spiders in a 90 IIRC and I had some from my 97 and they weren't even close to fitting.

More than likely. Aussie's site list 2 for the D35, pre 94 and post but I'm thinking they have the years off a bit since 93 was the transition year.
