Last time I checked they were out of the Dana 30 lockers. So I went with a spartan locker, same setup and cost, but the spartan also comes with a hardened steel pin and super easy installation. Good luck and smart decision either way.

Should come with everything. If you have a 8.25 rear you might need new thrust washers. They crack easily. Just something to anticipate. Oh and the only way to get them is through the dealer and they only come in a pack of like 5 sets. If you need some, I have all the sets but one due to me needing that one.

Ive been thinking about putting an aussie in the rear too, how do they drive on the road? My xj is my daily driver, i drive like 25 miles on the average day

locker works great on road and even better offroad. if i daily drove my xj, i would consider doing a selectable in the front. if the weather gets real bad out there. a lunchbox in the front i have heard can make it kinda sketchy on ice. some people don't mind it and so people do. but as far as the rear a spartan or aussie would be a great addition.

I would love to have a selectable, but even if i save up for like 6 months to get it, i plan on going to a 44 in the front eventually, so i think illjust go with the aussie

I have had far less problems with my Aussi (knock on wood) than my friends with the spartin have (blown up 2 or 3 now). I have one in my hp dana 30 and love it. You get some parking lot noise. I dont mind it in the snow at all. Good luck!

Even in the rear it makes driving considerably different on icy roads. Driving in 2wd is easy to give too much gas around corners resulting in fishtailing. With just snowy roads it's not too bad, but on icy roads it sucks. When I pop it into 4x4 though everything is well again.
