ATMOS I'm calling you out.
You've done frame stiffeners right, I can't decide if I want to put a bead all the way down on the bottom or leave it. Are the rosettes good enough? Also I have the ruff stuff stiffeners and that lip at the top doesn't sit flush to the body, it's like 1/4in off. I jacked them up high as they would go and that's as high as they would go. Should I put a piece of plate in there to sit flush to the body? I don't think that's necessary but I don't know. I don't think anyone has had a problem with the body tearing off the "frame".

If you are shooting for the proper way to install stiffeners, you should do some stitch welds along the edges. 1-2 inches long every 6-8 inches. Will your jeep survive without them? - Probably, but since your're welding anyways, then why not finish it out proper.

this was the best advice I ever read on welding to the uniframe

I do stitch welds wherever I see a few inches of open space. the ruffstuff plates are a PITA. mine have the same gap. I think I had a thread going once where RWKHaus replied and said it's supposed to have that space so you can fit plate in there and make foot stands for cage tie ins? kinda blurry on the reason. I just left the gap there and tried to fill those weird ovals.
if you've every seen HRDRCKN's one ton build on here I think he did them the best. turned those dumb ovals into nice round welding surface with the plasma. came out great
I dunno

I welded my HD offroad stiffeners. Filled in the rosette holes and stitched welded the seams... 1.5 inches every 4 inches. Held up so far from landing on the rocks often on the trails.

It's not that people have issues with the body separating from frame, more of the frame separating from the frame.
Alright looks like I'll put a couple stitches along the bottom and won't run a whole bead. Thanks man. That guys welds look better than mine for certain. Lol mine will still hold though

I must be dumb because I cannot figure out how to link threads in the app, but search for me in the how to section for Ruffstuff stiffeners. I'm far from an expert, but at least its another data point for you to consider.
