I just installed mine and was wondering if this connection to the upper bracket looks correct. Sorry for the close up.

That's really not what i wanted to hear since I live in VA. Is there a way to prolong the life of the heim joint? Regular lubing I guess?

Might be a good idea to install safety washers in the case of the Joint falls apart. Maybe not as crucial for track bar but definitely needed for steering components.

By safety washers, do you mean lock washers or is there something else you're referring to?

Safety Washers are just larger hardened washers that prevent the outer part of the joint from falling off the inner in case of a failure. Because if that joint fails and the track bar falls off, you have seconds before the axle starts doing it own thing under the vehicle.

Its been instilled in me to use them whenever you have heim joints because you never know if they are going to fail and simply fall off

Do the metal sleeve insert things crush at all with the specified 115ft lbs of torque or can i just loosen, remove the bolt, add washers and reassemble?
