Any 4-banger gurus out there?
I'm converting from Renix to multi-point injection on an '87 4-banger (the 2.5L engine). The block has less than 20k miles on it.
Already picked up the manifold, throttle body, and injectors from a '92 and found the harness from a '92 but I think I still need the gauge cluster, ECU, and sensors.
What else? I'm having trouble finding an ECU specific to 91-95 (?) 2.5L... does the 4.0L ECU know when it is being used in a 2.5L or is there a different unit for each engine size?

Why go to all this trouble to change to a different 4 banger? Dont get me wrong i love mine, but if you're changing the harness as well you might as well just get a 4.0/aw4 combo and throw it in.
As far as the ECU goes, Im pretty sure the ECU's are different between the 4.0 and 2.5. I cant say that for a fact, but i've honestly never heard of anyone using one in the other. You might could find a 2.5 ECU from a YJ and it may work, but i'm not completely certain.
