I finished my 8.8 swap and now the shock that were on there for 4.5" lift are too long. There have not room to Colapse due to the relocation, center line on the axles, from the ruff stuff kits. What shocks do I need to run?

My XJ has the Rusty's RX13 which is 15.67" collapsed and 26.07" extended. At ride height the shock are almost completely collapsed which makes for a very rough ride. I was thinking of going with the Bilstein 5100 for a 2-3" lift which is just 2" shorter but not sure that will give me the ride I need either.
Any help?
