I put one on my 88 f150 with the 302 and saw and felt significant more power, never put one on an xj though but im sure more air in and more air out = more hp

Once I get done with my exhaust upgrade, this is the route I'm gonna go for better air flow. The spectre gets you twice the function since it's a true cold air source for roughly the same price, in addition to increased flow. All the K&N or AEM or whatever gets you is increased flow, same old hot engine bay air source. I may just do the cowl-intake mod since I don't have ABS though and mount a high-flow filter inside the oem box with some added insulation on the outside of it. Depends on how much cash I have left. Shiny would be nice!

It says 91-01 does anyone know if it will work on a 90 though?

There's another one for 87-90 XJs, but yeah, with a little modding it'll work.

Renix jeep intakes bolt on with a flange and HOs clamp on with, well, a clamp also the renix draws air in from the driver's side and HO the passenger. Google is your friend.
