Oem muffler as well as many aftermarket mufflers are still packed with fiberglass. Search around different exhaust sites and check out the cross sections of their mufflers. Flowmaster is chambered and does not use any soft muffling material, which is why it is so raspy.

Hey

My flowmaster 50 sounds close to stock. Can I go back to shop that did my exhaust and get a 40 put in? Would they charge full price?

Is 40 more meaner than the 50?
