I'll reevaluate who to buy the kits from, and will definitely scale back to 3~3.5. Thanks for the input.

Thanks guys. Among the sarcasm was a bit of wisdom. I'll now tuck my tail and head back to the car forums. Clearly I'm not worthy to be in the presence of such XJ 4x4 brilliance.

I will never understand why some feel it's necessary to bash newcomers to their hobby....as if you were born with all the knowledge you now have. I logged into this site to learn from you all....not get whacked.

Listen, the answers given were legit. Lowrange can come across rough at times i know but he only means well. Listen to his advise and you won't regret it. Rubicon Express is a very nice lift kit! Hope you and your daughter have fun wheeling in the future.
Feel free to ask any question you want.

Yeah, I edited it after I chilled. My bad. It takes all kinds, and I'm no exception. Thanks again.
I'm looking at the Rubicon Express 3.5" kit now. Will likely have more questions, and welcome all input......even a sarcastic barb if it makes you feel good.

I'm surprised you heard anything good about Rusty's. That's not a common thing to hear.
I ask how old your daughter is and how long she's been driving. In my opinion, a new driver doesn't need to be in a 4.5" lift XJ.
I suggested 3" of lift due to comfort, simplicity and to save you a few bucks.

I wasn't bashing you. I may come off as sarcastic but they were all honest questions.
