For the front I will just add a 1" spacer but what should I do for the rear? Are there any good 2" shackles? Is that even ok to run? If not ill just stick with the 4.5" and maybe trim a little.

I agree, if you HAVE to have some lift right now at least get something you can reuse later. 2" shackles and 1" coil spacer will get you 1" over stock. When you can afford a 3" kit you can keep what you have and end up with 4" us lift.

If my computer hadn't crashed, I'd have some pics to show you. My old Cherokee had a total of about 2ft of leaf springs (adding up all the short lengths from both leaf packs) that were missing due to breaking and rust. I spent about 6 months on Craigslist and on the For Sale section here and on JeepForum.

I ended up with quality 3.5" lift springs, plus shocks, a new trackbar, 5 wheels, and 5 nearly-new 33x12.5 tires...all for under $1000. I know exactly how you feel trying to get it lifted as fast as you can afford to, but trust me...it's worth it to wait and do it right.

Don't let anyone charge you more than 200 bucks for a new housing and labour. It's easy to swap and axle and there are a million of them in junkyards.

the first jy wanted 375... the second one was 175 delivered to my dads buddy (the one whos doing it) and when the delivered it they wanted more money! he told em no because they originally said 175, well he called us and i said it was fine so now the axle is 235.. and my dads buddy said itll be around 100 bucks in labor for him to do it.. hes pretty cheap and hes a good guy. but the axle price ehhh... im most likely putting new ball joints in because i already have a upper and lower for one side and i figure while the axles out its prolly worth it to do.

Anyone know if these provide any lift? I need this to net at least one inch or else my lift will be lopsided... http://www.liquidironindustries.com/...roductid=18222

Depends on the length and angle of your shackle. Will likely lower, I would think.

EDIT: green, I was referring to these: http://www.liquidironindustries.com/...1&cat=0&page=1

They add 5/8" of lift and allow you to re-position the top of your shackle to achieve a better angle.

No lift. Assuming you have stock shackles at 45 degrees they say it won't change your height.

Ya but I was thinking if I could just replace my 1" shackles with those leaf sliders I wouldn't really want to fo any higher. But if I were to get those sliders I would then be at 4.5" front and 3.5" rear...

I have a solution for that, TNT customs makes rear u bolt eliminators that will net 1" lift.
