Default HELP!!

My 89 4.0 cherokee laredo sputtered and died on my on my way home. I parked it for the night at a friends house (luckily it died right in front of it) with the same sputtering. The next day it started fine but when i pressed the gas it just sputtered for a second and died. I replaced the fuel pump and filter because i had little fuel pressure and now it wont start at all . Any help will be great. I have spark and most of my ignition system is 6 months old. I replaced my oxygen and crank sensors also

Check your Coolant Temperature Sensor.

Sorry to be the one that asks this, but...it has a substantial amount of gas in the tank right?

You're probably looking at a faulty throttle position sensor. You may have also gotten a faulty fuel pump or hooked it up incorrectly.

...it's a testament to how much us neophyte's trust you guys, and how readily you answer even - sometimes - stupid questions (yeah, guilty as charged) that we'd rather ask stuff here.

It's a compliment, not "not paying attention" lol.

...no special meaning: I just always wanted to use that emoticon (which, you must agree, is a disturbing name for a grown man to have to use).

Emoticon is better than "smiley"

Most of us also watch the Ask A Question thread for non-lift info:
