1inch is hardly going to be noticable. You can do 2 inches for the same price and wont have to change anything else but the alignment.

Boomerang shackles have nothing to do with shackle angle.

I don't care if its not noticeable. I have another XJ for that.

And I thought the whole point of boomerang shackles WAS to help with shackle angle and clearance.

Either way the unofficial Zone dealer here on CF PMed me back with a nice price, so I will probably get them regardless. I just can't find if they come with any hardware or not. So I'm assuming they don't.

clearances yes, angle no, your effective shackle angle will be the same.

"Noticeable" could also mean "noticeable ride difference", "noticeable clearance", "noticeably better", etc...

Really?

Just seems having part of the shackle angled 45° would help with the angle versus straight shackles.

Still getting them lol.

mounting holes will be in the same location regardless of what shape the shackle is between them

No. Your shackle angle is the line drawn from the center of one bolt to the center of the other bolt. No matter what the shackle is shaped like.

Had to lookup boomerang shackles. The only important part with something like this is the location of the end points. Anything in the middle is irrelevant. It could do a figure-8 and wouldn't matter. Draw a line between the mounting points and this is what you have.

Same as a track bar. All the bends in the middle are for clearance. The relative position and rotation of the mounting points is all that matters. The rest is for clearance.

You might be better with shackle relocation brackets if you're trying to get that 45 deg.

OK. Makes sense. Still getting them.

Just to clarify I'm not trying to fix a shackle angle issue just curious about it.

Okay; Im a newb. So let me ask AGAIN. 89 Cherokee Laredo. I started out with a simple fuel smell inside. replaced vacuum lines, injector O rings, and fuel rail fittings. Car ran when I pulled it into my garage. Now it wont start. I have replaced WOT sensor, cranking sensor, MAP senor, Coolant temperature senor, ISU motor. I pulled the fuel rail back off cranked on the starter and shot fuel across engine compartment. Repaced distributor cap, rotor, plugs, plug wires. It just wont *&^%) fire up and run. Any ideas? knarfm/ newb/ rudolf775@sbcglobal.net
