Can anybody else?
At 2", that should be it.

I've heard that with RE you end up taller. I kind of plan on running the 30's while i'm in college and putting a set of 265/75-16 on for some wheeling trips. I wanna keep this thing at 20mpg because that is just awesome that it can do that.

My RE 4.5 ended up being about 5.5 and even more in the rear. Rear settled a tiny bit.

RE or IRO for both, make sure you pick a double shear track bar.

Just to be clear..This thread is the place to ask all lift and tire questions. Also to post info about Lifts, Tires and other Mods you have done to your jeep so you can share them with other member. Again If you have a lift or tire question post them here.

Rules:
1- Content must be relevant, this is not a chat thread, wanna chat go elsewhere, but feel free to make useful comments or ask questions about what others post or any lift or tire questions as well..
2- Post the name of the product, basic info, where you bought, a link to it and your opinion of it.
3- Do not just list I installed a lift, wheels, tires a bumpers and such, as that's not helpful and will be removed.
4- Do not and I mean do not argue this is meant to share you experiences on the products you installed nothing more. I don't care if you don't like a product someone else did.
5- All threads asking about lifts and tires that could be answered by this thread will be locked and a link to here will be provided.
6- All images that are posted must be no bigger then 480x360. Want to learn how to resize and post pics read here.. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showthread.php?t=3750
7- I can add to these rules at any point I want and I can delete any post I feel serves no purpose and is not helpful to the thread.

Feel free to ask questions but please search the thread before asking. if you ask a question that has already been answered then this thread serves no real point and will be unstuck and annoy me. So please learn to use the advanced search feature and search the thread and site first. Learn to use the search here. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/howto-host-resize-post-pictures-search-site-7987/ So post away and we will answer any lift and tire question you have. I just do not want to see 5 threads asking the same questions of which lift is best and so on.. All questions are welcomed as long as it's not a repeat that's been asked 100 times..

Ok I'll start with a sample so those who can't read can hopeful learn by example.. I mean that in the nicest possible way..

Lift:
RE 3.5 Super Ride
http://rubiconexpress.com/Suspension...px?part=RE6025
Purchased at http://www.alljeep.com
Shocks:
RE Twin Tube shocks - http://rubiconexpress.com/Jeep/XJ/Pr...rt=SK010634RXT
Purchased at: http://www.alljeep.com

The lift is great has a nice stance and was pretty complete. One thing you have to do is at a 3/4" poly coil spacer to level the front out. In the end I ended up with about 4.5" of lift front and back. The sway bar end links suck as well. Good concept but the bushings tore up on me. That's ok it needs quick disconnect end links anyways. I plan on going with some from JKS.

The shocks well they ride rough but they are solid shocks. If I had it to do over I would have gone with Bilstein's or Monotubes, maybe even OME shocks.

There that's a good example of what you should at a minimum..
I have a 1990 cherokee i wanna put on 39s i need to no how big of lift and what all has to be done will be only for mud if u guys could plz help thanks

Front lower and upper control arms for an mj,xj,tj,or zj will work in an xj. If you go above about 6 inches of lift you basically have to get long arm if you want to have a decent ride. The taller you lift your jeep the longer the control arms have to be.

You could fit 39s with like 6 inches of lift. You will have to do a lot of sheet metal wort and bump stoping at that height. You would need like 10 inches of lift to fit 39s without hacking your fenders and wheel wells. You will need one ton axles. New steering, new wheels. An sye, new drive shafts, frame reinforcement, hydro assist steering, new brake lines, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a ton of stuff. Your best bet is to look at a bunch of build threads and learn.
