And I LOVE them. Rides like a Cadillac. Can't wait to get some lift springs in the back and flex it out.
Not going to trails rd - need new tires since I'm running on a spare, and I'm helping my GF's mom move.
There's about 3/4" of lift built into them if you use a stock shackle. I used a Dakota shackle and got a little over 1".

Id recomend BFG A/T... they tend to get very good reviews, especially for longevity.
Many people say these tires are overpriced, as they do have a considerable price tag, they rarely get criticism beyond the monetary shortcoming.
If you would like something a little cheaper, you can go with BFG at knock offs... the General Grabber AT2. Very similar tread, just less appealing sidewall (aka brand name), I have a friend who runs them and he likes them a lot.
Look them up at tire rack... im too tired right now to link.

How bad is it to use regular extensions on an impact wrench?
Ive got impact sockets (for some reason my standard set is vanadium... uhoh)... and I know that using regular sockets is dangerous, but how unwise is it to use a regular extension?

Hello, I am currently looking at the pros and cons between a 4 inch and 6 inch lift. I would like to have reasonable clearance in my XJ but obviously adding lift and larger tires will reduce the vehicle range.
I am currently looking at fabtech for a 4 inch and skyjacker for a 6 inch.
I guess the most helpful thing would be if people can post their mileage change from stock to 4" or stock to 6". Include tire size.
