Would the 245's on the 16" rim be too big if I don't trim fenders. And what backspacing will bring either of these tires on a 7" rim right to the edge of the flares without sticking out?

Thank you!
Well I'm bad at the conversion so ill say this a 3.75 backspacing will set you out a tad with 31's also 31's with no triming will be your best bet, and I think the 245's are 30's I can't remember...

Could you be more specific about the noises? I had the same lift but went to full leaves because the aal killed my stock packs. Hows your driveline angle? Are you getting any vibrations? Make sure you torque down the springs and shocks with the jeep on the ground.

I'm looking at a 6.5 long arm lift for my xj. Its a DD that will eventually be a full time offroad. Anyone have comments on which kit would be the best?

No vibrations at all, very smooth. I tightened everything down while it was on the jack stands and lifted off the ground. As far as the driveline angle I'm not sure what you mean. Sorry I'm a little new to all this stuff. I have a transfer case lowering kit and a tracker ball lowering bracket but havent installed them yet. The noises are like little crunching sounds. The sway bar is loose and the new bushings are shot. New bushings in the morning.

If you're not having any driveline vibes don't worry about dropping the t-case. As for your "track bar" bracket that is something you should do immediatley. I have a feeling your axle is a little bit off center. Also go around one more time with the torque wrench after about 10-20 miles. Crunching of tires on gravel?

That's a bit more expensive than the rough country lift. Oh well I didn't need that kidney anyways..

Whats the difference between the iro and bds?
Also the bds has alot more to it than just the lift. I'm liking that.

not of the tires just sounds like a quick clunk when the road gets a little bumpy. If my axle is off center is that a tough fix? I had the new 31x10.50's put on today and had the jeep aligned as well. The track bar lowering bracket might have to wait until this weekend. I also had the techs that put the tires on go around and retighten all the nuts and bolts on the suspension (I had driven about 60 miles on the new lift before they did that) By the way I can move the front end sway bar with my hands while the jeep is on the ground. I don't think that I should be able to do that haha

Iro is radius arm, bds is four link, they are both quality. Bds has a no questions asked life time warranty on everything they sell. I don't know about iro's warranty.
