That's what I would like to do, but I am gonna need tires before I can even scrounge the money for the lift together. It's kinda a lesser of two evils thing at the moment

I have been running a BB like that for a year now. Works great! absolutely no problems at all. I run 32's.

My add a leaf was about a 3in lift though, supposed to be two. So I ended up replacing the rear shocks with blazer offroad zr2 shocks, works great and very long travel.

You may need to lengthen your bump stops to keep from rubbing if you disco like I did. Otherwise you should be fine.

I would always suggest a BB first. You will get a better idea of what you want before you spend the big dough.

Buy your tires and trim the fenders to run them for now

Looking into getting an inexpensive 4.5" lift. My Cherokee came with a rustys 3" and it seems to be working out great so I'm thinking about using them again. Everything I've read has been people love or hate them. If you hate them what do you hate and/or what would you recommend instead. Any info would be much appreciated.

you wont need a SYE and d shaft at 3.5...

I know I wont NEED one at 3.5" but I would rather do it right the first time, then chase my *** around little vibes or noises that I don't know

I haven't added an SYE with my RE 3.5 yet. Though it will be better without one.

I say do it Bro, it helps alot, if you snap a shaft, use your front to get home, plus no fluid leak. One tip tho, have a good set of snap ring plyers from craftsman $16, worth it.
