I don't mind doing a little more trimming, but I dont want it to look like a hick truck.
I have no idea how much the BW flares will cover. I've never owned any.

The wheels I want only come in a 16x8. or 15x8.
If I were to just stick with 31 10.50's could I get away with the 16x8?
Also what would be a good back spacing? I want a little wider stance, but again, I dont want to get pulled over for them sticking out. So thats what the bw flairs are for.

these are what I want
You may have already been answered... but I'm on a roll.

The tire and rim size is really just a preference. A 31x10.50x15 tire on a 15x8 wheel will work just fine.

And what sort of tyre size could i fit to 17" wheel after lift, thanks.
Yes, that would work fine.

I assume they make a Duratrac in a 17... I'm sure they do.

All will be well.

I think they make them up to a 20". I know there are a lot of metric 17 sizes.

not much difference in options between a 15'' and 16'' rim. both are very popular. i think 16'' has more options but not alot more. your looking about a $50 per tire price increase also with the 16''. thats why i went back down to a 15''.

Offense taken. There's a difference between hicks and white trash. Work boots dirty jeans and camo hats don't mean crap. Farm boys who work 80 hours a week are hicks. Welfare rats who listen to rap music and cover them selves with back room tattoos but dress like us are trash. Pleas don't confuse country with low life inbreds.

It's built/driven by a hick... Still stand by your statement?

He probably does. You don't need to get defensive just cause he doesn't like a mod that we like, or because he uses colloquial words differently than you.

People around here look at me once and assume I'm trashy because of who I am, I take serious offense when people use the term hick in a negative manner. Just because I don't dress like a hipster or a preppy little douche I'm trashy? Not ok. I do the job no one else is willing to do, the jobs those people need to have done living their cushy little lives and I get a negative name because of it.

As for him not liking a mod or anything like that, to each their own it's his jeep let him do what he wants. I never bag on anyone that builds their jeep in a way I wouldn't if it's their rig it's their choice. His choice of words just irked me a bit.

That's the same reason I've gone back down I think overall the price difference is what it comes down to

Different words mean different things to different people. You wanna talk about assumptions.. I'm in the army. People have called me a lot of things, and whether they're good or bad, they don't always mean the same thing to both of us.

For bastard pack lifting, I'm going to get s10 leafs. My only question is, what type of s10 works best? 4wd, 2wd, 4 door, 2 door, specific year, etc? Thanks

One positive thing about going to a bigger rim is that it leaves the door open for a grand cherokee disc brake conversion. I personally run 15" rims but when some one told me they were going for 17's and that I was why I had zero qualms with it.
