Hi all it's been a while since I've posted anything money has been a little tight. So I had purchased a jeep that had a 3" kit on it and it sagged in the back so I am getting close to putting in my new rough country 4.5" kit and will need to put some new tires on my stock 28" tires are not gonna be very appealing. I know when you go up in tire size eventually rehearing is going to be an issue and so is the axle that you run. I've narrowed down the tires to either goodyear wrangler mt/r's or nitto mud grapplers. The part I haven't narrowed down is what size I wanna run. With the 4.5" kit and the cutting I've done I can run up to a 35" tire I know if I run that size tire I will have to regear which isn't a big deal to me Ive installed a locker already in my friends jeep and figure it can't be much worse but if I decide to run 35's will I need to do an axle swap or will I be okay? I am not running rock crawler trails more intermediate for those who live in Colorado stuff like momma hill up left hand canyon is about as hard as I am going to be doing. I have a 2001 jeep xj 4.0 non hi out put and I believe it has the Dana 30 front and Dana 35 back if that helps at all. If I have to do axle swaps I think I'll stick to 33's axle swaps sound like allot of work especially on my daily drive and being just 17. The more suggestions the better. Thanks guys

31's 4.10's or 4.56's < get better mpg's.
33's 4.56's
35's 4.88's

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum and had a few questions.
Jeep: 2001 xj sport i6 with c8.25
I'm looking at a re super ride (with leaf spring not aal). Will I have any trouble with the drive train? Vibes/wobble? I plan on 31s with bilstein shock.
I would be doing mostly light off roading. I live in the coachella valley so lots of sand and rocks, and truckhaven!
