What about Rusty's 3"? I can afford RE and like the sound of a 3.5" but as you said chip and a lot of others said it's not a true 3.5". And I do live in kind of a city suburb so I do want offroad/onroad performance while still getting that aggressive look of at least a 3" lift. But if that extra inch or w/e that RE gives you isn't going to affect my ride on the street and highway that much over a 3" from a different brand I think I would go with them. Remember I would also probably get a different shock such as bilstein or another quality brand to improve my ride no matter which lift brand I choose from. Essentially just looking for the highest quality 3" doesn't have to be rusty's

As was said, just drive responsibly. Realize that you're driving a lifted vehicle, not a Maserati and you'll be fine. You don't have to take turns like an old granny, but you shouldn't be hangin' 90* sweeps at 40mph either.
i plan on lifting my jeep 6.5 inches with a rough country long arm kit and use pro comp rock crawler steel wheels. with this set up what would be the proper backspacing on the wheels to prevent any rubbing???

I wouldn't suggest the rough country lift. I hope you know you need more than just what the kit includes, not sure the backspacing on those rims, but 4 or 3.75 is usually a good amount of backspacing.
the roughcountry 6.5 longarm kit comes with alot what else is needed??? what do u suggest???

You need an SYE, drive shaft, and degree shims. But idk what exactly comes in that crappy lift you're looking at.
Why such a high lift?

it's a crappy brand and I've seen post where things were welded crooked or they didn't thread together right. That's a high lift. Most I'd personally go is 4.5". Need a rear driveshaft, sye, I'd go ahead and plan on shackle relocators because they sell short leaf springs, different shocks because those suck, and better quality components all around.

you can run 35s with 4.5" and trimming. I hope you have an 8.25 rear axle and good brakes for 35s. I plan to get re springs, bilstein shocks, and a b lee 3 link. I already have extended brake lines (you can get those from almost anywhere), an adjustable track bar from somewhere maybe iro, i got an advance adapters sye for $200 or maybe a tad less and spent $30 on a zj front shaft to put in the rear. I would upgrade to disc brakes in the rear for 35" tires. You're going to need to regear probably 4.88. You can't just throw on a lift and go there's a lot to it.

You can run 35s with a 4.5" lift and trimmed fenders. I hope you have a Chrysler 8.25 rear axle; not a Dana 35, and good brakes to stop those 35s. I plan to get Rubicon Express springs, Bilstein shocks, and a B. Lee's Offroad 3-link long arm kit. I already have extended front and rear brake lines (you can get those from almost anywhere), and an adjustable track bar from somewhere (maybe Iron Rock Offroad). I got an Advance Adapters Slip Yoke Eliminater for $200 or maybe a tad less and spent $30 on a ZJ Grand Cherokee front driveshaft to put in the rear. Watch the acronyms. He's clearly new and probably doesn't know any of them yet. You can run 35s with a 4.5" lift and trimmed fenders.
