those are about 31.1x12.4
315 is the tread width about 12.5" and 65 is the aspect ratio of side wall height to tread width 204/315 or 65% rims size plus twice the side wall height and there you go
i also cheated and googled tire size calculator

Thank you Kuro. The tire is actually 315/60/r15 and I just followed your lead and googled tire conversion. It is about 30''. I just got some used d windows 15X 8 and a couple of good tires. Just need to get the other two. Do you think they will fit under a 2 inch lift.

That way you don't have to fight the leafs as much and bother with moving the jack. When you're done do not fully tighten the leaf bolts (front and back) until the truck is under its own weight.
It seems it would be easier this way. I just did not want to have to take the u-bolts off because I read it was recommended to change them if you removed them due to being "stretched".

Not sure if there is any truth to that. But I reckon there could be. I did not want to have to buy new ones because I am a cheap skate!

Default rubicon express bankrupt?

I've been shopping for Rubicon express' budget boost / add a leaf set up and found they have gone bankrupt. Anyone have any ideas on where to find one or suggest a similar economical set up. Thanks!

They should be fine under a 2" lift my buddy ran 30" at stock with only a little rub

After doing a lil research, I found out that I will have to go back in time to find two more 325 60 15s (finally, I think I am correct) to match the ones I have. using the conversion tools, The size is a lil more than 30 inches. Could I run two 30 x9.5s along with the two 325 60 15s? Would this bet silly because the 325s are about 12 inches wide.

I would run the same size tire front and rear, I know too big of a difference will destroy your t-case when you engage 4wd, though I don't know what is the acceptable difference in tire size

You don't have to take the ubolts out.. But it's gonna make it harder to wrestle the leaf eye into position on the shackle. Remove the rear wheels. Put the frame on jack stands, and a jack under the axel housing. Then R&R the shackles. Get a breaker bar cause those eye bolts are gonna be stuck tight!

You can get an Iron Rock Offroad 2" kit with spacers, add a leaf, and u-bolts for $161.50 and that includes shipping.

Not a bad deal. If you want springs instead of spacers it will be a little more.

I am already soaking the eye bolts with PB blaster. I am going to do that for a week prior to attempting to put the kit on.

I think I am fortunate in the fact that my 2000 has been in the south it's entire life and zero rust underneath. Not sure if that means anything but I don't thing I will have too hard of a time, fingers crossed.

I know air ratchets put out about 50 ft. lbs. of torque. Would that be enough to get those eye bolts loose? I don't think you can get an impact wrench up in where the stock shackles are at. But I think I can get the leaf eye bolts with one. That would be nice. I hate hard labor!

Hey guys,

I am quite new to the Cherokee world! I bought an used Cherokee two weeks ago and I don't know which lift it has. The vendor told me sth about 5 inches but as I am originally German (from Munich and will only stay for 5 months in the USA), I didn't know what 5" were meaning in number for the lack of experience with U.S. inches. The vendor didn't know a lot about his car, but now I know, that I surely don't have a 5" lift. I think it is maybe a 3" lift. Here is a picture, what do you think? It has Skyjacker Nitro 8000 dampers if this helps. Currently there are 30x9.5 R15 on it, but the clearance under the diffs is too little!

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Next question: do you think I will get 32x11.5 R15 tires on it or just 31x10.5 R15? Since I will go offroad, the tires shouldn't grind in the wheelhouse..

Thank you very much for your help!

It looks like a 2" lift honestly. If you wanted 31x10.50's on it you would have to go up to a 3" lift.

Do you know if you have spacers on top of the springs in the front and shackles on the rear? You could measure those and find out.

Just does not look like it sits high enough with those tires on it to be a 3" but I could be wrong.

I concur that looks like a lil 2" bb...u could possibly put 31's on it now...no wheeling though lol..its gonna rub...def no 32's without trimming those fenders...

But u could put some 31's...trim a smidge, and bumpstop it and be set..

Hi guys,

thanks for your help. I measured the spacers on top of the springs. They are unfortunately only 2 inches..

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Don't you think that 31x.10.5 would fit?
Maybe trimming would be doable for me, but for bumpstoping I would need a car lift which I actually don't have..
If I find one, which bumpstopers would I need? And what do you think how much time would it take to install them?
Maybe, I should keep my tiny 30x9.5 since I am leaving the U.S. only 5 months again..

I' have a question. The last pic that was posted in this thread makes the second pic I' have seen with the coil spacer put in under the stock isolator.

I' thought you took the stock isolator off, put it on the coil spacer then installed the coil spacer so your spring would still be resting on the isolator.

I' am fixing to install some and just wondered what the right way is or if it even matters.
