Last time I ordered, I had to call. Great customer service

If you're willing to spend the money, buy an OME kit and be happy

If I wanted to piece together another lift?

Rusty's coils (that's hard for me to say cause I don't like him or trust his other parts)
Rubicon Express leaf springs
Bilstein 5100 shocks
IRO double shear track bar
SYE (they're all basically the same)

Thanks. I have read that RE Monos are 5100s. What is the real scoop?

First of all that is awesome that your girl wants to wheel!

I say why go taller? Stick to around 2" run whatever tire you want. Keep it nice and low and stable. Get her some fender flares and run 33's if you want it to look good.

Throw a flat belly on it and you would be amazed where it will go. An inch and a half higher and you cause yourself more money and work for 0 performance.

My opinion.

I'm very familiar with LCOG, as I did it when everyone told me it wasn't possible. I like it, but I do recognize that there are compromises. With her being so inexperienced, the added ground clearance would be beneficial and the slight loss of stability would be inconsequential. We don't have rock crawling out here; it's mostly wooded trails and a lot of mud

I've read that on forums, but I've never seen anything conclusive. I've also heard that RE monotubes are Doetsch Tech, Fox, and Rancho

That is why I mentioned a flat belly. She would have as much clearance as a jeep with a 5 in lift (at the crossmember)

Anyways. Just a suggestion.

Make sure to post up her jeep when you get it done.

I'm guessing you would go 3.5" RE Leafs, but what about the coils? 3" or 4.5"?

A vendor on this forum told me in writing that RE Mono's are "white-box Bilstein 5100s", for whatever that is worth...

You know I will. I don't have the means to fab since I'm living in an apartment for at least 6 more months, and it won't be a big enough (or serious enough) project to justify the cost of a flat bellypan. She won't be getting a TC drop, for sure, and TC & gas skids with 2x6 rockers and diff covers should be strong enough for her use

You asked about 3", so I'd say 3" lol. RE leaf springs tend to give more lift than advertised, but that'll balance out with a steel bumper, spare tire, and some tools in the back. If the front ends up too low, you can always throw in a 1" or 2" spacer up front

Would you mind sending me a private message with the vendor's forum name? I'm just curious about getting more info, but I don't want to put him on the spot in this thread

That's what I figured, but thought I read that front usually ends up shorter/less room in fender than rear. But the spacers make sense...

I'll see if I can send a PM. Not much experience on the site yet.

It's easy. Just click my name to the left (where it's blue), and hit the Private Message button. And of course, feel free to ask any questions you have. We're happy to help out

Think I sent it. BTW I don't consider myself IT illiterate, there just appears to be a crap ton of buttons on this site and while I spend a lot of time reading forums, usually don't spend too much time contributing (for better or worse).
