Do you just use the standard screw in style found at all parts stores, or are there some that work better than others?

Hey, Guys,
I'm still collecting parts to do my 2.5"- 3" budget lift with bastard pack, and I'm getting down to the nuts & bolts...literally.
My question is:
Where is a good place to get new u-bolts, center pins and leaf spring clamps?
There are no "spring shops" anywhere near me...
All the performance shops in the area are of the "Pimp My Ride" type...(They'll try to sell me chrome bead-lock 35" spinners...YUCK! ).

Is there a part # for a u-bolt for a 3" lift? (1989 XJ, btw...)
Center pins? (I'll be using S-10 leaves w/ XJ leaves)..
I imagine I can get leaf spring clamps at a decent parts store, like maybe NAPA?
Will I need front swaybar end extensions with a 2.5" - 3" lift, or are disco's the way to go??

I want to do this right, and ONCE....and I'm the kind of guy who wants to have all the parts I'll need when I start the job..because it always seems like I break critical parts at 6PM on Sundays... ....so I want to be prepared.

Thanks for any & all help and advice!

Question sagging rear leafs but want 3" lift

I would like to put a 3" lift on my 91 cherokee. Will the add a leaf work if my stock springs are sagging or will i have to go for new rear leafs? Will I have to extend brake lines or modify the steering?
Does anyone have a good instructional post on this site? Is there an easiest to install kit?
Any and all information is appreciated and welcomed. Thanks in advance.

here is a write up
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/how-install-lift-xj-all-read-238/

you might need to do this
https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/how-relocate-your-track-bar-4919/

you will need either a longer rear brake line oor and extender

line vvv
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/cat...entId=cat10005

extender vvv

as for the AAL on saging leafs you might not get the full 3" out of them, everybody says full packs are better but you do what you do when moneys tight

Yep the 8.8 will be worth it. The front D30 should be fine. Also you want much lower gears then 4.10's for 35's...I would go eithe r4.56's or 4.88's...

4.56's would be the highest I would go but I still think 4.88's but that's just me. I plan on 4.10's on 31's..
