None of them were looking at long arm kits. One of them asked about the relocation brackets and I warned how low they sit. But there are a lot of people in our area running the RC kits and loving them. I have heard more positive reviews of the Rubicon kits, for the people that can afford them
actually this is where I was getting my info from. his xj blew out 3 bushings and the coils were super stiff. the leafs after our trip to moab turned into a S shape after 3 months of having it. he ate the $$ after RC wouldn't do anything about it and bought a clayton long arm kit with new coils and leafs. i would stay as far away as possible from them. when you buy cheap you get CHEAP. if its a wheeler / dd theres no way I would want cheap to keep me alive driving down the road.

where do you see them saying that? if they are light wheeling their rig wouldnt you rather do it right the first time?

also RC quality should be up to par regards wheeling moab or anything or park for that matter.

Absolutely correct about getting what you pay for though. If i had the money and not the green eyed monster I would have gone with the tnt kit. I still go and look at it dreamily every day, i will have it eventually

Don't think it really matters since bashing a certain company is not what this thread is about man. We are here to ask questions and get opinions on the good the bad and the ugly. You stated your opinions so let's move on here and get back on topic.

And just for the record I pulled this from the first post in this thread!

This is under RULES:

"4- Do not and I mean do not argue this is meant to share you experiences on the products you installed nothing more. I don't care if you don't like a product someone else did."

And here is a bump to my questions! on Page 64!

claytons are beefier. I have seen a set of tnt bend at Reiter and tnt wouldnt do anything about it. clayton has lifetime warranty!

I have been looking at lift kits and am torn between whether I want 3",3.5",or 4.5" of lift. What do you all reccomend for a jeep that will be used as stated above. I am really leaning towards the 4.5" but am concerned with all of the SYE and t-case drops I keep hearing about and which one I would need. Also I am wondering what width of wheels everyone is running and what tires they are running on them, and if you have a rhyme or reason why you chose that width wheel please share that. I am going to be going black steel wheels most likely. I will think of more questions later I'm sure but that is all for now.

Also I am looking for pics of lifted cherokee's with similar height lifts from above next to stock height cherokee's. If there is a place I could find something like that then please point me in the right direction.

Thanks
Brandon
why lift your rig if it will see mild trails and a dd? for you I would suggest a 3.5 rc lift. stiff as hell but you can fit 31's under it. i doubt you will need a sye at 3.5 but you seriously wont know till you lift it. 4.5 bs wheels will do the trick!

Why not lift it? And why do you now suggest the RC lift after bashing them?

RC offers a 3" lift and RE offers the 3.5
