They are super cheap. I did point on way more than one occasion that the shocks were crap. I learned that one the hard way. Stiff coils retain there height longer though, but they were also too stiff for me. I had my 3" kit for a very short period of time, but this new 4.5 kit they are selling looks like it has been completly reworked.
None of them were looking at long arm kits. One of them asked about the relocation brackets and I warned how low they sit. But there are a lot of people in our area running the RC kits and loving them. I have heard more positive reviews of the Rubicon kits, for the people that can afford them

Absolutely correct about getting what you pay for though. If i had the money and not the green eyed monster I would have gone with the tnt kit. I still go and look at it dreamily every day, i will have it eventually
And just for the record I pulled this from the first post in this thread!

Don't think it really matters since bashing a certain company is not what this thread is about man. We are here to ask questions and get opinions on the good the bad and the ugly. You stated your opinions so let's move on here and get back on topic.

Ok so I am new to the jeep community and I am looking at lifting my 2001 XJ. This truck will be driven daily and trail driven some. The trails will generally mild and nothing crazy. I have been looking at lift kits and am torn between whether I want 3",3.5",or 4.5" of lift. What do you all reccomend for a jeep that will be used as stated above. I am really leaning towards the 4.5" but am concerned with all of the SYE and t-case drops I keep hearing about and which one I would need. Also I am wondering what width of wheels everyone is running and what tires they are running on them, and if you have a rhyme or reason why you chose that width wheel please share that. I am going to be going black steel wheels most likely. I will think of more questions later I'm sure but that is all for now.
Also I am looking for pics of lifted cherokee's with similar height lifts from above next to stock height cherokee's. If there is a place I could find something like that then please point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Brandon

I apologize for the off-topicness that I allowed myself to get into. xjoffroad and I have a history of arguing. I will abide by the rules
Why not lift it? And why do you now suggest the RC lift after bashing them?
