If you have decnt mechanical know how, and the proper tools, and some extra hands, it's not a big deal. It should take anywhere between 4-8 hours, depending on what goes wrong....and something will!! I'm moving this thread to the proper section, thanks!!

yes you need to extend the bumpstops. its all relative to where/if you rub, and the collapsed length of your shock.

yup. drill holes through all of them, then bolt them together and to the coil bucket.

you can also use some window sealant to keep them in place like on http://go.jeep-xj.info/

you can get away with just trimming. but i would reccomend bumpstops with any lift to keep the springs from overcompressing.

2. if i put it on top will i need to get a trac bar or control arms to realign the front?
3. if i go with the aal kit would it be better to take the stock leafs off of my cherokee chief parts jeep? reason i ask is stock they come with an extra leaf and more curve. I know i should just buy a leaf pack but money as a college student is tight haha
bumping my question
